These gel insoles are quite comfy and feel weightless then I put them in my shoes. I had no problems walking in them and they took off the stress on my feet. The backside of the sole is slightly sticky because of the gel material on the bottom.
Probably the only gripe I have with the gel insoles is that the foot pattern design on the top is so far up. When I had to cut the gel soles to fit inside my shoes, part of the toes on the design got cut off. Not that it matters since the gel soles stay inside the shoes and nobody can see them. I wish there was more arch support in the soles though. Good product to have for light walking and hiking.
