Japan Post

I wish I could go back to Japan!  We had an amazing time traveling to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.  There was so much to do and see there.  The food was glorious!

The view from our hotel

Dessert at the metro station

Edo Museum

Shabu shabu with a side of sashimi

Sumo wrestlers!

Cakes at the local market

LA Cookie Con

I won tickets to LA Cookie Con via Tastemade.  The event itself was filled with cookies galore!  My tummy was too full from all the sweets.  It was a great start for first time convention.  Wished they had more varieties of other foods besides desserts.

Made some really cute perler art

Shucks Oyster Bar

Had the pleasure of dining with Shucks Oyster Bar a couple of months ago.  Here are some pictures!  :)
Had some delicious clam chowder.  The bread was so good with the soup.
Fantastic Grilled Cheese sandwiches.  Love the gooeyness of the cheese!
Fresh Oysters!  Enough said :)
Tasty Lobster Roll
Caesar Salad.  Gotta keep it healthy ya know?!

Check it out if you're in SOCO!

SweeTARTS soft and chewy ropes

I receive two free sample packs of Sweetarts soft and chewy ropes from Smiley360 to try.  They were quite a treat.  My nephews who are big sugar fanatics almost ate my entire pack.  Luckily for me, I had another pack!  There's 8 in a pack and they're tarty in the center (got that punch filling).

I love that it has no artificial flavors or colors!  Great for kids and adults.  Fun to play with too :D
Check it out!

Taiwan Photo Studios

J and I decided to go to Taiwan to do our engagement photos since we heard about the amazing photo studios out there.  I'm a bit concerned when I sought out a photo studio for our photos.

After reading the Singaporean brides forum, there was a lot of tips when dealing with Taiwanese photo studios.  One being that once they signed their contract, there were additional charges for upgrades like dress quality, transportation costs and that you should inquire about them before putting a down deposit.

I think we're going to wing it and pick one once we arrive to Taiwan.  I had hoped on using one of my friend's photo studio however when I asked her, she was not pleased with her experience with the photographers and quality of the shots.  She did like their makeup and hair artist though.

I feel one week in Taiwan is not enough for us to enjoy our vacation and will probably be spent looking at wedding studios and shopping for wedding stuff.  Le sigh.

I asked J to talk to this studio.  Hopefully they're good.

Destination Wedding!

We just booked our trip to Cabo San Lucas and put down our down deposit to host it at a resort.  I'm SUPER excited because the resort hotel looks so amazing!

The wedding coordinator was a pain to contact (if we didn't have this place dead set for our wedding, I wouldn't have booked with the hotel in all honesty because she was terrible responding back in a timely manner) but we finally got through to her.

Not sure what kind of themed decorations I want to do.  I've been going to a couple of wedding expos and got some ideas.  They all look very elegant and beautiful.  Hopefully I pick one soon.

Weddings are so expensive!  :X
