I like the idea of this product; shred your veggies into thin slices and simulating pasta like texture. The package contents are spiral slicer, end cap with spiky ends to hold on to the veggie, cleaning brush, and mini Cookbook booklet. Inside the mini booklet, there's a QR code to get more recipes online. Nice!
For some reason I expected the slicer to be bigger, I'm not sure why because vegetables aren't really that big. I guess I was thinking it would be more complicated? The Very Healthy Sprial Slicer is a easy to use and straightforward. The design is innovative in that you can slice at both ends (reminds me a lot like a pencil sharper but more dangerous). The blades inside are incredibly sharp so be careful when handling the spiral slicer. I managed to slice a carrot and the slices didn't look as good as the pictures. It's much more difficult to get the slices to be longer because I'm using it like a pencil sharpener. Overall, it will take awhile to get use to using this but I think it's a good way to sneak in veggies to your dinner.
